Cadburys Freddo Sprinkles

Initially, I was surprised when Cadbury's decided to combine hundreds and thousands with the iconic chocolate Freddo, but then upon reflection, I realised that this is the key component to a classic sweet that we will all remember from our childhood bags of pic'n'mix: The chocolate Jazzie.
How could I forget about the humble Jazzie when it was always a staple aspect of my bag of sugary joy?!
Now, that is enough nostalgia for this post, onto the review!
It basically tastes just like a regular Freddo, I am quite disappointed if I'm honest because the concept had such great potential! Perhaps if the sprinkles were on the outside and coated the pants of the Freddo then it probably would have had more of an effect. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the cute little chocolate frog, but it was more or less a regular Freddo!

Bear Raspberry YoYos

Bear are a great company with their products aimed predominantly at children, with their adorably cute and whimsical packaging. They offer a healthy alternative to sugary and processed sweets like fruit winders all whilst providing one of your five a day!
They have no added sugar, no preservatives and never from concentrate so surely they must be delicious? Well, I can assure you that they certainly are! The flavour is lovely, natural and tastes very much like raspberries. I was very impressed with the overall flavour of these and I loved just how adorable they are, perfect for both children and adults. I can't wait to try the rest of the range!

Trek Banana Flapjack

Trek are such a brilliant company with an innovative range of products available. Their bars are some of my favourite snacks to enjoy of an evening with a nice cup of green tea and this banana flapjack is no exception! The flapjacks are particularly indulgent in my opinion with their lovely stodgy and comforting flavours, with only natural flavourings that are vegan friendly.
The banana one is simply divine and would be perfect with a bit of custard, but still a lovely snack on its own. The natural banana flavour shines through with the aid of dried chewy chunks of banana in it and works very well with the oats.
Overall I really enjoyed this bar and would definitely recommend it if you love banana!

Kitkat Toffee Treat

I am a big fan of KitKats, and I am always excited when they bring out a new or limited edition flavour, but I always find myself envious of all the weird and wonderful varieties that they have on offer in Japan! I mean, they have ones that you can bake! How magical does that sound! So the British varieties always seem to be a tad dull in comparison... That certainly doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the British flavours, in fact I really enjoy them.
Now onto the review, the "Toffee Treat" flavour is a bar of two crispy wafer fingers covered with a blend of toffee flavour white, milk and dark chocolates. It actually reminded me a bit of the Caramac version they brought out a few years ago, which was a nice blast from the past! I really enjoyed this bar, it gives you a nice chocolate hit without the calories of a typical chocolate bar. It was a good size, with creamy chocolate that contrasted well against the crispy wafer in the middle.

Graze Box 3

Box three of my adventures into the land of Graze and I am certainly loving it! The boxes I have been getting are particularly on point and I am absolutely loving them! The mixture of sweet and savoury means that there is a snack for every mood! Now enough of my rambling praise and onto the review.

Brilliant Black Forest
So this was one of the adorable little puds that you simply pop in the microwave for ten seconds and enjoy! I'm not gonna lie guys, this was pretty darn incredible! The chocolate cake was moist and had a good chocolatey flavour, the perfect serving size that leaves you feel content and satisfied due to the richness. The ever so slightly tart and delectably sweet cherry compote works wonderfully with the cake! Basically I loved this.

Coconut Crumble Cake
I feel like I am repeating myself with such glowing reviews but I honestly can't help it because everything is so good! I think my favourite has to be this pudding because it is just incredible, it actually reminded me a bit of a macaroon in its flavour. I loved it and the little pot of sauce with it is just as wonderful, it is refreshingly tropical and perfectly compliments the coconut cake.

Super Carrot Cake
Carrot cake is one of my biggest weaknesses so I am often devastated when I found out just how calorific it can be! How can something that tastes so good AND have vegetables in be so bad for you?! I suppose everything in moderation is the key to life, and a little bit of what you fancy does you good. Anyway, I digress, the cake is lovely and moist with the classic flavours that we know and love of carrot cake.

Chilli & Lime Pistachios
I think pistachios are my favourite nuts, the fact that you have to de-shell them yourself is half of the fun! Plus, like all nuts, they are packed with goodness! I really liked this flavour with the spicy chilli shining through nicely and the hint of lime was a good touch to cool down the heat and add a depth to the flavour.

Propercorn Sweet Ginger and Orange Popcorn

Propercorn has to be one of my favourite brands at the moment so you can understand my excitement when the kind people of Propercorn contacted me! The Sweet Ginger and Orange flavour is simply incredible, it is such a unique concept and the taste certainly lives up to my high expectations. It has a lovely gingerbread flavour with a subtle underlying hint of orange that worked very well with the slightly spiced ginger. I honestly can't get enough of this popcorn and I am devastated that there aren't any Waitrose's in my city but alas I will make do with all of the other lovely flavours that Propercorn has to offer!
Basically I loved this popcorn and I am excited for all future flavours that will be released!

Perkier Gluten Free Golden Syrup Porridge Pot

Perkier are a company that specialise in gluten free products, a market I believe to be increasing exponentially, most likely due to it becoming a food trend and the rate of people getting diagnosed is higher also. Anyway, onto the review, I decided to try one of the 'on the go' porridge pots. I went in with high expectations as I have had various Perkier products before and they were delicious. The level of sweetness was lovely with strong golden syrupy tones. The oats were thick and chewy, and very filling. You honestly couldn't tell the difference between regular gluten oats and these gluten free oats, so don't be fearful to try this! I strongly recommend it to anyone who lives porridge!

Trek Cocoa Coconut Flapjack

Trek are a fabulous company that are a branch off from the beloved Nak'd brand so as expected all of their products are vegan and packed with good stuff. They offer a range of products such as flapjacks and high energy protein bars, and today I am reviewing their Cocoa Coconut Flapjack. As you will have guessed from the name, it is a classic combination of chocolate and coconut with an added oaty element. The oats helped to add substance and texture to the bars which contrasted nicely to the smooth dark chocolate top layer and occasional chunk of dedicated coconut. I really enjoyed this bar and my top tip would be to heat it up in the microwave for ten to twenty seconds, it is simply divine! (But make sure you are barely and don't burn yourself!!!)

Coco Pops Porridge

Cocopops porridge, a fantastic concept in theory but does it really translate into real life? Unfortunately not... Instead you are left with a generic and somewhat chocolatey mess in your bowl. The consistency is just awful, it isn't quite porridge, far too thin to be porridge in my opinion. It sort of resembles a thick-ish soup but even that is pushing it tbh...
As you can guess I really didn't enjoy this porridge, it was obviously done just to appeal to children and maybe adults feeling whimsical or nostalgic. It just had very little substance to if, it wasn't particularly filling (although I will let that slide as it is aimed at children who typically have smaller appetites than I do) and it didn't really taste anything like Cocopops, well I suppose that there was the vaguely chocolatey taste
I am deeply disappointed in this and as a result it won't be replacing my regular stove top porridge oats that I love and can depend upon! (I am such a drama queen)
