Alpro Coconut Ice Cream

As a lover of all things coconut, I have realised that it is a totally underused flavour, even in vegan food! Which is particularly odd when coconut is considered to be such a miraculous health food at the moment, what with all of the coconut oil appreciation going on right now! Here is what Alpro have to say about their brand new ice cream.

The ice cream isn't as sweet as the other flavours but I think that this actually worked better with the coconut flavour, it was subtle and very mild in taste. I think that this probably would have worked better with a topping like a Choc Shot sauce and mayb some dessicated coconut to sprinkle on top. But in all fairness I did still thoroughly enjoy this on its own.
